The Official Research Society of the Grand Lodge of North Carolina

The Masonic Research and Historical Society of North Carolina is a new model for Masonic research lodges. It has no membership roll or dues, yet it is open to all with an interest in matters of the history and philosophy of Freemasonry. Non-Masons are welcome to participate.

It will have no meetings, but will always be open for study and instruction. Its corpus will be a living publication with free access to all via the Internet.

Papers on any Masonic topic may be submitted to the Society by email. Please use RTF format to assure that it is readable by our panel. Only electronic filings are accepted. Their suitability for inclusion as a part of the society will be judged by a committee of Masonic authorities. All accepted papers will be archived in the Societyıs online library. Masonic membership is NOT required for submission.

The Society is governed and funded by the Grand Lodge of North Carolina Committee on Masonic Education. It is intended to foster thought and respect for Freemasonry in the State.

If you would like to submit a paper, please send it to our Research Editor.
