David R. Cash

Rev. David R. Cash, Sr. (Dave) is a native of Troutman, North Carolina, and has been married for over thirty six years to his high school sweetheart, Rev. Lynn Watts Cash (pastor of Kerr Street UMC in Concord.)  Their son and daughter live in the Greensboro area and teach for Guilford County Schools.  Dave holds degrees from South Iredell High School, the University of South Carolina, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He entered the ministry in 1984 and has served the following charges:  Elmwood, Hickory: St John's, Center-Pisgah (Statesville District), Pleasant Union (Greensboro District).  He was appointed to Midway in June of 2003.  He loves music, cooking, golf, and is very active fraternally as a mason and shriner.  He presently serves as a state officer with the North Carolina Masonic Grand Lodge and as a member of the Board of Directors for both the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford and the Masonic and Eastern Star Home in Greensboro. Dave and Lynn reside in Kannapolis.
